In addition to our public stops, the Mobile Library makes scheduled visits to childcare institutions, schools, special needs communities & retirement homes where students & residents may not otherwise have access to library services. Interested? Please call us at (302) 855-7893.

Kathy’s favorite childhood book was “The Velveteen Rabbit,” and she has loved sharing the book with her nieces and nephews. In her downtime, Kathy can be found sitting on her deck enjoying a cool water breeze with a book.
Tracie Hitchens, Librarian
Tracie is a former preschool and special education teacher. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is her favorite story time read.
As part of our outreach services, The Mobile Library offers deposit collections. Staff will work with your organization to determine your needs and every three weeks we will bring you new material.
Deposit collections are available for both children and adult groups and may be combined with programs as well.
